My Go-To Yogurt Bowl

This has been one of my favorite breakfasts recently! I don’t eat a lot of dairy, but I love Greek yogurt. It’s a great source of healthy fats, protein, gut-friendly probiotics, and leaves me full for hours. I love to load mine up with toppings, and sometimes even make a yogurt bowl for dessert!

I always choose full fat, plain, unsweetened yogurt. It is generally the lowest in sugar, and sometimes I’ll add my own low-glycemic sweetener (I love Trader Joe’s organic liquid stevia drops).

Here’s what I added in this bowl:

  • 1 cup 5% Fage plain Greek yogurt

  • 1 scoop Primal Kitchen vanilla coconut collagen fuel

  • 1 tsp maca powder (I love the Thrive Market brand, you can use my link to get 25% off your first order!)

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/4 cup frozen wild maine blueberries

  • 1 Tbsp unsweetened shredded coconut

  • 2 Tbsp crushed walnuts

  • 1 Tbsp unsweetened sunflower seed butter

  • A few mixed berries

I love mixing up the nuts and nut butters I use- pecans are also great with this. So is almond, peanut, or pecan butter.
